Hidden gem. Best Afghan cuisine in NJ. Reasonable prices, cozy ambience, best qabuli pulao and chicken tikka 🍗🍗🍗🍗 and lentil soup is amazing as well 👌👌👌👌🤟🤟🤟🤟 owners are very nice. Our favorite place to eat 👍
The food is good and the service is honest and pleasant. Don’t go there if you’re in a rush and expect professional wait staff. Go if you’re in a mood for some good quality kebabs, cooked fresh. We had the chicken shawarma which was nice and the chicken Chaplin kebabs which was good for two. They also give sauces on the side so you can make them as spicy as you want. This area needed a kebab place, hope they stay!
We just got take out for the first time and it was amazing! The whole family loved if! The food had tons of flavor and was cooked just right. I can’t wait for the leftovers!
This is my favorite restaurant in Westfield. The food is amazing! Don’t let the location or casual decor fool you- this place is top notch.
Lamb Tikka Kabab was so good! I feel as I am eating at Shema’s home — everything is so fresh and so authentic.
Food is delicious, sauces are outstanding, always go out of their way to please the customer but most importantly they do this because they love to cook and share their food with the community. So happy we found this gem!
I have been checking the restaurant religiously since mid April in hope that they will open with curbside pickup. I called over and over again just believing someone would answer the phone and I’d have some update on the status of the restaurant. I see it is now showing temp closed. However, the phone number now says disconnected and I am extremely worried. This restaurant has the best and i mean the best lamb and beef dishes. Not to mention the perfect naan. So I only have one request. please please please don’t be closed, seriously please I need this restaurant to stay open. Stay safe during this time I look forward to eating at this restaurant again.
Had it tonight. I'm a big fan of Afghani food and usually go to Warren for it. It's nice to have someplace closer with quality food. I shared photos of the menu. Call and order rather than using GrubHub as the prices are higher in the app.
When we walked in, we thought it was too small to be good. Then we got the menu’s and ordered food. The people working were like friends, kind, and they evrn told us their favorite foods to order. This is a perfect place to go if your looking for heavenly yet classic food!
Love this place!! You can tell the food is made fresh with quality ingredients. It is not cheap, but you get large portions and it makes for great leftovers! There are not many places in town to get what feels like "home cooked" takeout like this! So happy to support this small family business!
